Ecologisch bermgraspapier 140 grams 100mtr. x 1600mm FSC Mix Credit

Ecological Roadside Grass Paper 140g FSC Mix Credit is made with (roadside) grass clippings from ecologically managed plots in the Netherlands. 

For every 100 kilos of Bermgrass paper, 35 kilos of freshly cut verge grass is used. Verge grass paper is recycled paper with fibres from cuttings from ecologically managed verges. By using verge grass as a raw material for the paper, the CO2 stored in the grass clippings is not released and gains new value. The grass clippings are processed in-house into a suitable raw material. Because the grass clippings do not remain in the verges, it impoverishes the soil and provides opportunities for more diverse flowers, herbs and grasses. It provides food and protection for all kinds of animals. Insects are on the menu of birds, bats and small mammals. Moreover, herb-rich crops hold water better due to more complex root structures and the soil remains firmer. When the flowers and herbs have finished flowering, the verge is mowed and the clippings are removed, dried, ground and used as raw material for new paper.
